New Funding available for Derbyshire Community Groups

The Derbyshire OPCC would like to make residents aware of a new funding opportunity for community groups in priority areas across Derbyshire.

The Mayor’s Community Development Fund - a £3 million initiative launched by the Mayor of the East Midlands – is now open for expressions of interest. The fund aims to support projects that tackle deprivation, build community resilience, and improve local skills.

Local areas in Derbyshire eligible for funding include Cotmanhay, Gamesley, Normanton, Arbortum and Shirebrook North.

Application window: 4 September - 14 November 2025
